Short but sweet session. Here are a few hands:

I hate AQ, particularly from ep. I could have c-bet this flop, but it wouldn’t have been very credible on a low card flop and I thought I’d take the free card. Obviously I can’t call the river bet.

This time my AQ worked out a bit better. Big mistake by villain giving me a free card on the turn with his straight. But with the board paired, I was happy to just call and take it down.

On the turn, I was sure I had the best hand and didn’t want villain drawing to his flush. He was short-stacked, so figured he might actually an all-in.
Overall, I am pretty pleased with my recent play and discipline. I haven’t tilted and tried to chase my losses and I’ve made progress in playing small pots with my small hands, basically just grinding it out and my bankroll is now almost back to where it was before the downswing. My goal is to make the $400 mark, at which point I will start considering taking a shot at $25NL.
We’ll see…..
Session stats:
Number of hands: 103
Net profit/loss: +$3.05
Winrate: +14.81 ptBB/100
Bankroll: $372

Hi There,
Good post, grinding money is what it is all about. It should never be fun, if you are enjoying it then you aint doing it right.
Most if not all of my sessions involve simply grinding it out and playing solid and making sure that my discipline stays in check because a lot of peoples dont.

Yes, I am convinced the key to success is discipline and patience. Sometimes easier said than done

Way to go man. Looks like your making some good progress! I’m about ready to move my blog to my new site so I’m saving some trip reports for that.
