Well I’ve had quite a tilty week of poker. It started off again taking some bad beats, getting angry and then donking off a load of chips by playing too fancy for the stakes I’m at. I should know better than to try to bluff calling stations and playing marginal hands out of position. I went back through my sessions in PT, and about 50% of my money lost was due to me overplaying my hands postflop and playing too many marginal hands out of position and from the SB.
I’m not gonna post the hands because it really isn’t pretty and my bankroll has taken a bit of a hit, but luckily I have got my act together in my last two sessions and I have been playing very zen ABC poker and won a load back. My BR is still below where it should be, but at least I’m playing my “A” game again.

Glad to hear you’ve got your A game back.
Tilt is my own worse enemy, my reccomendation install a punching bag then you can kick the crap out of it, and pretend its that idiot donkey who just gave you a bad beat, then you’ll feel much better.
After a recent nasty river I ended up giving me bedroom door a good boot and felt better afterwards :p

Good to here that your back to your A-Game … we all drop some money from time to time – the important thing is how you handle this times … I believe you handled it well by not chasing but dropping a level and rebuilding the way you got the money the first time …
I am in the middle of my pre-christmas break and getting “hungry” again
GL and chat to you soon

Where ya at man? Tilt can last for quite some time if it’s not taken head on. I hope some time off has helped get the head straight.

As you can see, I hit a bit of a downswing and am trying hard to win it back….
